Back End Engineer

Kawan Kerja is looking for talents for an internship position as a Back End Engineer. In this position, you will be involved in developing and maintaining servers, databases, and APIs to support our applications. This is an ideal opportunity for students or fresh graduates who want to deepen their experience in back-end development and work in a dynamic team.

Job Description:

• Build and manage servers, applications and databases.
• Design and optimize APIs for front-end integration and other applications.
• Resolve issues and bugs on back-end systems.
• Implement new features based on project needs.
• Collaborate closely with the front-end development team, designers, and stakeholders to ensure project success.

General Qualifications:

• Students or fresh graduates from Informatics Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related fields.
• Have a good understanding of software development architecture, including server, database, and API concepts.
• Ability to work independently and in a team, with good communication and collaboration skills.
• Good problem-solving skills and logical and analytical thinking.
• Ability to adapt quickly to new technologies and dynamic work environment.
• High initiative and strong willingness to learn and develop.
• Can manage time well and able to work with tight deadlines.
• Experience in working on software development projects, both academic and personal projects, will be a plus.

Special Qualifications:

• Experience with one of the back-end programming languages such as Python, Java, PHP, or Node.js
• Understand the basics of RESTful APIs and how they work
• Knowledge of database management systems (MySQL, PostgreSQL, or NoSQL)
• Understanding of version control (Git)
• Experience using frameworks such as Express, Django, or Laravel is a plus
